The Crucifixion of Jesus Christ
Millions of people watched Mel Gibson's The Passion of the Christ. This film vividly portrays the arrest, trials, beatings, and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. While the movie clearly demonstrated the physical anguish endured by our Lord, it did not (and probably could not) portray the worst part of the crucifixion - the mental and spiritual torture that Christ suffered. This talk silences the skeptics' suggestion that Jesus did not die on the cross. We point out why Christ's sacrifice was necessary for the forgiveness of our sins and close with a clear presentation of the Gospel.
