How to Know if You are Saved
The Apostle Paul instructed the Corinthians to examine themselves to make sure they were in the faith (2 Cor. 13: 5). The Apostle John wrote his first letter to those who believed in Jesus Christ so that they may know that they had eternal life (1 John 5: 13). Many believers have been taught that it is impossible to know for sure whether or not they are saved. However, the Bible clearly indicates that one can know for sure. This talk examines the epistle of 1 John and highlights the characteristics of a true believer as revealed in this letter.
